Just as always, there are no changes in Brentford regarding the manager. The Danish tactician Thomas Franks coaches the team since 2018, and it seems that he will stay for at least one more season. And why would Brentford replace him? He’s doing a fine job at the club, keeping it in the Prem.
On the transfer market Brentford made a big move, reinforcing their attack. The Bees signed the Brazilian striker Igor Thiago from Club Brugge. The 23-years old became a hot prospect with his performances in Belgium. Now the fans are impatient to see him in action. Except for Thiago, Brentford did not sign any other players just yet.
At the same time David Raya moved permanently to Arsenal while players like Fin Stevens, Thomas Strakosha, Shandon Baptiste and Charlie Goode left the club as well.
Crystal Palace showed a lot of promise since the arrival of the manager Oliver Glasner in February. The Austrian coach improved the team, but the question is – can he keep these levels?
On the market Palace reinforced their squad with some new players. The club signed Olympique Marseille’s Ismaila Sarr and Real Betis’ Chadi Riad while they also moved for Lazio’s Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada.
The bad news for Crystal Palace is the departure of their big star Michael Olise. The French winger moved to Bayern Munich and he will continue his career in Germany. Olise will be missed at the Selhurst Park – that’s for sure.
